You can make your makeup last longer by keeping it clean. Be sure to use clean hands when handling your makeup also use brushes and clean those brushes weekly with an anti-bacterial soap. You should also sanitize your brushes with rubbing alcohol every few months.

What you will need: rubbing (isopropyl) Alcohol 70% to 90%, Q-tips and a scraping tool.
Sanitize your makeup every few months to kill bacteria and get longer use out of them. Do this by either scraping off the top layer of product to reveal clean makeup or dip a q-tip into the isopropyl alcohol and then gently rub the top of the product.
I get more use out of my mascara by adding a drop or two of eye drops to my mascara. NEVER pump your mascara; this will dry it out faster. Just twist the brush in the tube and pull it out.
