Most popular perfumes are sorted by fragrance notes so that you can seamlessly find the perfect eau de parfum or eau de toilette.
There are six fragrance Categories to choose from:
Fresh and sweet: Fruity scents with bright, sparkling and crisp notes.
Vibrant and Fresh Fruity floral scents with exciting, lush and liberating notes.
Clean and Fresh: Fresh floral scents with dewy, elegant and pure notes.
Warm and Dreamy: Warm floral scents with flowing, silky and romantic notes.
Indulgent and Warm: Warm scents with decadent, sensual and smooth notes.
Exotic and Warm: Warm scents with enticing, emboldening and sophisticated notes.
What is the difference between Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette?
The main difference is the amount of perfume oil in the formula: an Eau de Toilette contains less perfume oil and more water and alcohol than an Eau de Parfum.
Eau de Parfum is more intense, luxurious and fuller than an Eau de Toilette.
Which lasts longer Eau de Parfum or Eau de Toilette?
Perfumes contain a higher concentration of oils and will last around 8 hours, while Eau de toilette and colognes only last 2 to 3 hours because the concentration of oils is less.
Layering for a longer lasting fragrance
If you absolutely love your Eau de Toilette (perfume) and don’t want to switch to a more expensive Eau de Parfum, consider layering it with a lotion if there is one that is the exact same fragrance as the toilette (perfume) you are using. Don’t layer with a different fragrance. It can over power your perfume.
If you don’t want to use a scented lotion and want your fragrance to last longer you can try applying unscented lotion before you spritz on your perfume. Moisturizing creates a great base for your perfume, moisturizes your skin and helps lock in your fragrance better.
